History

Hot Summer NItes Rod Run begain June of 2006 as a group of people came together with the desire to bring a top class car show to the Norfolk Area.  Norfolk Area Nostaliga Nationals had humble beginnings but with the appearance and support of Boyd Coddington in 2007, we took one step closer to becoming the event you would not want to miss.
This event has activites for the entire family such as life music, food vendors, car vendors, RCMX racing, Bikini Contest, a Burnout Contest, Cruise Nite and many more activities.  In 2008 we have added another night of live music and are planning on more activites for the youth of our area.
It is with sad news that we received the death of Boyd Coddington and will miss his appearance in 2008.  We look forward to the appearance by his wife Jo and to have on hand some of the car's he has designed.  His  memory will live on in the minds and hearts of those that loved him and in the truly wonderful designs that he created over the years.
